"A Ministry With Grace"

Come home to Grace, you are welcome here.

Shepherd Program

The Shepherd Program is a caring ministry at GPC.  The administrators of this ministry are volunteers who feel called by God to extend a hand of friendship and loving care to all the members of our congregation.  Those who have answered the call to be shepherds of God’s “sheep” have committed themselves to contacting each of their “flock” individually and personally.  It may be by telephone, e-mail, notes and cards, or personally.  In their contacts, they usually give out their name and contact information, hoping that if ever there is a way that they can serve you, you will contact them also.  In times when we are asked to activate the “Calling Tree”, telephone calls are made in order to share church-wide information.  A list of the “Shepherds” and their “flock” is posted on the bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.  The present roster of Shepherds is:

Karen Benton                            Dick Custer (asst, Joyce Winham)                      Joyce Ehrensperger

We are not called by God

                                                            to do extraordinary things,

                                                            but to do ordinary things

                                                            with extraordinary love.
